Fewer noisy alerts. Less manual checking. Important moves surfaced with evidence.

The gap

A page changed. That is not the insight.

Manual checks waste time. Generic monitors send raw diffs. Neither helps your team decide what to do.

Built for the decision

One evidence trail, different next actions.

RivalLens keeps the source consistent while each role decides what to validate next.

Reliability and evidence

A failed check is never presented as competitor intelligence.

Monitor health stays separate from change events. Invalid or blocked captures preserve the last known good baseline and show the recovery action.

Validated capture

Public HTTP and HTTPS targets are checked against private and reserved networks. Captures are bounded, sanitized, and rejected when they resemble login, challenge, error, or unrelated pages.

Traceable evidence

A meaningful change keeps source URL, capture time, exact before-and-after text, content hashes, and private screenshot references where supported.

Honest limitations

RivalLens monitors selected public sections on a schedule. It may not observe short-lived edits, authenticated content, or pages that successfully block capture.

FAQ

What to expect before you start.

Answers reflect the current product behavior and plan configuration.

What does RivalLens monitor?+

Selected sections of public competitor pages, including pricing, product, positioning, security, changelog, and hiring content.

What counts as a monitored source?+

One selected page section—such as a pricing table or feature list—counts as one source.

How are meaningful changes different from raw page diffs?+

Captures pass quality checks and noise normalization before a change is categorized, explained, and linked to its exact evidence.

How often are pages checked?+

The configured launch plans use daily checks on Free, 12-hour standard checks on Plus, and six-hour standard checks on Pro. Priority sources can be faster where the plan allows.

Does RivalLens support dynamic pages?+

Some dynamic public pages can be rendered remotely. Pages requiring interaction, login, or local context may need the optional extension and can still remain unsupported.

Is the browser extension required?+

No. Standard public pages can be set up in the dashboard. The extension is used for precise local selection and rescue capture when cloud capture is not sufficient.

What happens when a page blocks automated access?+

The check fails or requests attention; the response is not stored as verified competitor content and the last good baseline is preserved.

How does RivalLens reduce false alerts?+

It scopes capture to a section, rejects malformed pages, normalizes known noise, checks selector intent, and suppresses low-value changes.

What evidence is stored?+

Captured section text and relevant context, source and final URL details, capture time, hashes, and private screenshots where supported.

How is AI used?+

AI interprets already captured evidence through versioned, schema-validated prompts. Factual answer segments require citations; insufficient evidence returns an abstention.

Can I pause or cancel at any time?+

Monitors can be paused without losing history. Paid subscriptions can be canceled through Billing and retain access only through the verified paid period.

How is monitored data protected?+

Workspace authorization, row-level security, private object storage, short-lived signed links, safe logging, and server-side entitlements protect monitored data.

Visual page monitors

Useful for noticing. Limited for deciding.

They tell you pixels or text changed. Your team still has to find the signal, understand it, and decide what happens next.
