How RivalLens handles workspace data
Effective 2026-08-12 · Kush Gilitwala, operating as RivalLens · India
This notice explains what RivalLens processes, why it is used, which service providers are involved, and how to make a privacy request.
Who operates RivalLens
Kush Gilitwala operates the RivalLens service from India. Privacy and grievance requests can be sent to contact@getrivallens.com.
Information used to provide the service
RivalLens processes account identifiers, workspace settings, selected source URLs, captured evidence, analysis artifacts, uploaded document content and metadata, delivery preferences, billing state, and operational diagnostics needed to provide and protect the service.
Why processing occurs
Information is used to authenticate users, acquire user-selected public sources, compare evidence, provide requested workspace features, deliver configured notifications, administer subscriptions, prevent abuse, meet legal duties, and maintain security and reliability.
AI and service providers
RivalLens uses Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Vercel for hosting and privacy-conscious product analytics; OpenAI for configured AI analysis; Upstash QStash for queued work; Resend for requested email; Razorpay for configured billing; and Browserless or a configured isolated capture provider for dynamic pages. Slack processes delivery data only when a workspace connects Slack. Providers receive only the data needed for the requested feature.
Access and sharing
Workspace content is private by default and access is limited by workspace role and document permissions. A user-created share link exposes only the approved artifact until it expires or is revoked; it never exposes storage credentials.
Retention and deletion
Workspace content is retained while the account is active. Archiving a monitor stops checks and alerts. Recoverable monitor, document, and workspace deletions are scheduled for purge after 30 days. Limited copies may remain in secured provider backups until their normal backup cycle expires, or longer where law, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or a legal hold requires it.
Your choices and grievance contact
Workspace members can manage sources, notifications, sharing, and available deletion or export controls. A person may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent where applicable, or grievance review by contacting contact@getrivallens.com. RivalLens will verify the requester and respond according to applicable Indian law.
International processing and security
Configured providers may process data outside India under their service and security terms. RivalLens applies workspace authorization, private storage, encrypted secrets, bounded signed access, audit records, and incident procedures, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
